Mark joined the family business in 2004. He has extensive experience in the finance sector having worked internationally for many years directly under heavyweights such as Michael Bloomberg (mayor of New York), Lex Fenwick (CEO Bloomberg), privately for the Waters family (Pink Floyd) and at Barclays Capital (structured trade and export finance).
In addition to Mark’s financial experience, he has worked in various management positions in the service and hospitality industries for a number of years and understands all aspects of business management.
Mark is a Registered Business Valuer, a committee member of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers, an associate member of the International Business Brokers Association and attendance to university for Accounting.
Mark’s experience is excellent grounding for a business broker and he has all of the necessary skills and business knowledge to help prepare a business for sale and plan a most profitable exit strategy.

Matthew comes to Sydney Brokerage with a wealth of hospitality and management experience.
Over Matthew’s 25 year career, he has successfully been hands-on management in the hospitality industry include controlling businesses with multi-million dollar turnovers such as Hamilton Island Resorts and Sizzler Restaurants Australia. He has owned and operated restaurants and cafes as well as catering businesses.
Matthew’s experience included concept development, recruitment and management of over 50 staff, budgets, cash flows and forecasts and the development of a franchise system. This experience gives Matthew unique insights into how your business can be prepared for sale and to deliver the maximum returns possible.
Matthew has been instrumental in hospitality business sales as large as $2,000,000 to as small as $45,000. With a professional and enthusiastic manner, Matthew strives to achieve the best possible results for our vendors.

Ray founded Sydney Brokerage in 1979.
As a master salesperson, Ray has operated Sydney Brokerage for 29 Years. Being involved in thousands of business and real estate transactions his wealth of knowledge is almost second to none.
Ray is a licensed Business Broker, Real Estate Agent and Stock and Station Agent.
Prior to starting Sydney Brokerage, Ray managed a number of franchise estate agent operations, including offices for L J Hooker, Richardson & Wrench and others. Ray also headed up the state wide auctioneering for L J Hooker for a number of years.
During Ray’s vast career he has completed over 3000 transactions, ranging from the manufacturing industry, Wholesale operations, retail and many others.
